PURPOSE
To prevent the abuse and neglect of Georgia’s children through education, advocacy and the promotion of evidence-based prevention strategies.
ABOUT
Brightside Child and Family Advocacy has recently become the newest Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (PCA Georgia) local council for Chatham County. In our new role as Prevent Child Abuse Greater Savannah, we will work to expand current programs to bolster child abuse and neglect prevention efforts and awareness in the community. We will also direct local resources that support families into PCA Georgia’s statewide resource helpline, 1-800-244-5373 called "Find Help Georgia." Parents or caregivers can talk to trained professionals who can help connect them with local supportive programs in Chatham County and beyond. These resources will also be available to search by location through an interactive community resource portal at

PINWHEELS FOR PREVENTION
The staff of Brightside Advocacy and Savannah Bananas planted a Pinwheels for Prevention Garden at Grayson Stadium. Visit the garden through the month of April.
